About us

Our ambition is to satisfy our guests. We owe this to the beautiful, historic inn with its traditional rooms. The origins of our house lie in the heyday of the spa town of Merano and its noble Obermais quarter. Much of the good old inn culture has survived until today. On our menu you will find the hearty dishes of the South Tyrolean cuisine, for which we have stuck our nose in Grandma’s cookbook. But, as is the case with us in South Tyrol, we also looked beyond our own horizons and let ourselves be inspired by the Italian culinary lightness. Our pasta dishes and our large selection of pizza recipes are based on the best Italian cuisine.

We are proud of this mixture of North and South, this colourful variety of a little Dolce Vita and down-to-earth thoroughness. This includes above all the efficient and friendly service. The beer must still be fresh when the plate comes on the table. Where you can laugh, you are welcome to come back: At the bar we always find time for a friendly word or a funny remark. Last but not least, we have an open ear for the wishes of the little ones and the needs of the elderly.
